Smoked Venison Roast
Looking for a great venison roast recipe? Look no further!
Heres what you need:
2-3lbs Venison Roast
1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2-4 Tbsp Bo B Q Steak Rub, Bo B Q Brisket Rub, or Bo B Q Cajun
Directions:
Trim off all the fat and silver skin
Coat roast with olive oil and season with the rub of your choice. Place in the fridge 2-4 hours.
Remove from the fridge and allow to rest at room temp while you allow your smoker to get to 225.
Place the roast on the smoker and smoke until the roast hits 130 degrees (about an hour).
Turn your smoker down to 200 and continue cooking until the roast internal temp reaches 140 (about 30 minutes).
Remove from the smoker and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting & serving.
